Dan Morgan, who has been calling on AmerisourceBergen
for over 25 years, knows the programs and promotional opportunities

Using a category management approach at corporate,
AmerisourceBergen has a number of key contacts in HBC, OTC, and
private label. Working with these key decision makers, and tying
in advertising events, can make the difference in achieving your

With the HBC Source Program, Retail Edge Promotional
book, Ad Express Circular, Home Health Care Catalog, Diabetes Shoppe,
and the Space Manager Program (which is managed through Hamacher)

For the chain drug accounts, Dan works closely
with the AmerisourceBergen drug chain liaison personnel around the
country for effective chainwide distribution opportunities through
"speed-to-shelf" and Rapid Replenishment programs. Managing
proper pricing programs to set competitive retail prices at these
chain accounts through negotiated chargeback pricing contracts is
key. Rounding out the effective management of both key drug chain
accounts and ABC's independent drug account base, Dan is very active
in the area of unauthorized deduction tracking/control and SPIN
report tracking to optimize your business through AmerisourceBergen.

The Cardinal Health opportunity encompasses
over 6,000 stores. Key to building sales at Cardinal are our relationships
with their primary customers, including their in-house Medicine
Shoppe/Medicap Pharmacies, as well as their larger chain customers
such as Kerr Drug, Lewis Drug, and the innovative Pharmaca stores.
It is our goal to manage your business in a professional,
efficient manner, creating opportunities to increase your distribution
and sales, build your brand, manage your promotional funds in the
most effective manner and handle the administrative details such
as co-op tracking and deduction resolutions in timely fashion through
our relationships with the appropriate people inside the Cardinal
Health system.
We would help you to determine the best mix of promotional
opportunities available to best build your business within your
designated budget. The offerings at Cardinal would include the Profit
Builder Catalog, First Placement Autoship, Leader Heathcare Magazine
Ad Program, Home Healthcare Monthly Specials and specific placement

pharmacists in attendance providing an opportunity for new distribution

Morgan & Sampson USA's heritage stems from
McKesson and we have been building a business relationship with
them for more than 30 years. Chip Carter and Bob Alberto have the
expertise and understanding of every aspect McKesson offers to the
manufacturer. This knowledge has allowed new and current companies
to launch new products, increase their distribution and promote
with the independent class of trade.
McKesson is corporate driven with decisions made
by the Category Managers in OTC, HBC and Home Health Care. All promotional
planning and execution of promotions are done with the Category
Managers. Morgan & Sampson USA has a successful record of guiding
the manufacturer through the various programs to obtain distribution,
maintain distribution and building their business.
Bob Alberto, Regional V.P. OTC, has worked with McKesson
for over 30 years. Through his guidance he has successfully developed
new companies as well as existing vendors. Bob has developed marketing
plans specific to McKesson and their class of trade.
Kerri Scott, Regional V.P. GM, has worked with McKesson
for 6 years specializing in developing branded OTC products within
Home Health Care. Through her efforts, she has converted private
label compliance products over to a national brand OTC manufacturer.
Baron Braccia, Key Account Executive, has worked
with McKesson for 4 years calling on the private label category
manager developing brands under the Sunmark label.
All three understand how to develop strategies within
McKesson's guidelines to successfully launch new companies and new
products, as well as increasing existing business. They work with
other Morgan & Sampson USA offices to influence purchases with
key chain accounts. This is particularly important for new manufacturers
and new products.
They work with FrontEdge, the plan-o-gram merchandising team, to
place products on the various sets insuring compliance with McKesson's
Valu-Rite and Health Mart stores.
